We can get a huge range of motion by adding a few more hexagons but it really is nearly a full sphere now, not quite the psuedo bubble chair I was originally thinking of. However I guess lots of people will want a big range of motion and who am I to stop them. By rotating the internal base and removing the pedals we have a much more compact space to fit the user. The top view shows it best and the front and side view doesn’t really give anything away.
If we remove the two extra half hexagons we get a slightly different look but I’m not sure I want a big spike pointing at my face, even if I am strapped in securely :p
