Starting to get seriously annoyed with Showcase

You use F4 to rotate the models, but F5….. that resets ALL the materials! and you can’t undo it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve screwed up my project with this and had to redo all the materials…

    OK, this is REALLY sort of a hack, but as a work around you could use a (FOSS) program called AutoHotKey (www.autohotkey.com) to remap f5 to [something-less-damaging] ONLY when using Showcase.

    It’s fairly easy to wrap your head around – should take less than 30 minutes to figure out. Assuming this issue causes you to lose only an hour of work per year (on average), it would be a no-brainer. 🙂
