Well, 21 out of 80 or so now. A few places said no right away, a few are refusing on grounds of volume, but most are now sitting on my drawings while I wait for replies.
I had to start a spreadsheet to keep track of who I replied to and what they’re all saying.
It’s also slightly shocking how many companies let their ‘sales@’ email bounce with a ‘on holiday’ message. Surely these should be forwarded to someone else…
I just need ONE company to work with me and not rip me off…
Edit: I’m also kind of annoyed that at 13.55 I received two messages saying ‘I’m out of the office for a week on the 11th’… that’s NEXT WEEK! Really I think this is just code for ‘fuck you, you won’t get a reply even when I come back’… 🙁
