I still need to chase up some more companies but after several days of emailing back and forth I finally got a from a place that can make the panels, and it’s reasonable. 🙂 I’m not giving full details but suffice to say I could easily pay for enough panels for 6 prototypes on my credit card. This doesn’t tell you too much except it’s doable.
They won’t be ‘done’ since they can’t cut the metal so I’ll have to find another place with a laser to perform that part, but my statement that the sim will be ‘affordable’ still stands…
I’m still hopeful that I can find another few places so I better start looking… 🙂
